Movement As Medicine

Limited Series Weekly Classes

An Invitation To Journey In And Through The Body
As We Discover Our Potential

During these sessions we will explore the self organising ability of the body. Learning how the body organically wants to organise emotions and heal injuries. Through using balance, gravity, motion, rotation and momentum we understand our current capacity and build upon our physical, emotional and spiritual potential. Slowness, gentleness and curiosity govern these practices as we focus on incremental growth and change that lasts.

Join us for a mix of movement meditations, sequences, play based sensory games and Qi Gong. Out in the sun, by the river and for anyone wanting to shake things up and drop into their body. All ages (16+), stages and capacities are welcome.

“I joined Tomas for his Movement as Medicine session recently in the fresh morning air as the sun rose over the mountains in Warburton.

As a long serving (retired) chiropractor I have encountered all manner of strengthening and stretching regimes, the good, the bad and the positively damaging!

I found Tomas’ approach refreshingly easy on my body but productive and challenging in a careful way in terms of stretching, strengthening, relaxing and invigorating my body. It also enhances coordination and proprioception (awareness of the body’s posture and position).

Tomas gives clear instructions and explanations for all the activities and leaves you free to engage safely at your own level.

I was very impressed and highly recommend his approach”
